Ingredients:
  • 4 Premium Reserve Pork® Frenched Bone-In Pork Chop (stuffed)
  • Stuffing Recipe: (4 chops)
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 4 thick-cut chops, cut a pocket for stuffing
  • 3 cups day-old bread (French baguette)
  • ¼ cup butter
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 3 Tbsp celery, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp onion, chopped
  • 3 Tbsp apple, Granny Smith, chopped
Directions:

OVEN

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • In a skillet, heat oil on medium-high heat, add the chops and brown on each side. Place the chops in a baking dish. Using the same skillet, add butter, celery, onion and apple. Sauté until softened. In a bowl, add the bread, celery mixture and chicken broth. Put heaping mounds of stuffing mixture into the chops.
  • Cover and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Uncover and continue baking for 10 minutes longer or until juices run clear. The meat thermometer should read 155°F.
