  • 3 lb Hatfield® Recipe Essentials™ Ground Pork
  • 1 jar (12 oz) roasted red peppers
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 white onion
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1½ Tbsp brown sugar
  • 4 whole garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp mustard powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp hot sauce
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • Cheese of your choice
  • In a blender or food processor, combine the roasted pepper, tomato sauce, onion, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, onion powder, paprika, garlic, mustard powder and hot sauce. Puree until smooth. Set aside.
  • In a sauté pan, heat oil over medium high heat. Add ground pork and cook, stirring and breaking up with a spoon. Cook until sausage is fully browned, about 10 minutes.
  • Add the tomato sauce/red pepper mixture. Stir well, bringing to a simmer.
  • Cook for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Spoon Sloppy Joes onto buns and top with cheese.
